What Supermicro rack servers does VRLA Tech configure?
VRLA Tech configures Supermicro X14 servers including the SYS-222HA-TN (2U dual-socket Hyper flagship), SYS-212H-TN (2U single-socket Hyper), and SYS-522GA-NRT (5U GPU server with up to 10 GPUs). AMD EPYC H14 models also available. All configured and supported from Los Angeles with a 3-year warranty and lifetime US engineer support.
What is the difference between the three models?
The SYS-222HA-TN is a 2U dual-socket flagship with Xeon 6900 P-cores, up to 6 TB memory, and 4 DW GPUs. The SYS-212H-TN is a 2U single-socket with Xeon 6700/6500, up to 2 TB memory, at a lower cost. The SYS-522GA-NRT is a 5U GPU server with up to 10 DW GPUs for AI/HPC. All are current X14 generation.
Does Supermicro support NVIDIA GPUs?
Yes. Supermicro X14 servers support NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition, H200 NVL, H100 NVL, L40S, and L4. The SYS-522GA-NRT supports up to 10 DW GPUs with dual-root PCIe 5.0 topology. Many systems are NVIDIA Certified for AI Enterprise software.
What is Supermicro Building Block Architecture?
Supermicro's modular design lets you customize storage, expansion slots, networking, power, and cooling within a standardized chassis — no fixed SKUs. This means VRLA Tech can configure every server to your exact workload requirements rather than choosing from pre-built configurations.
Does Supermicro offer AMD EPYC servers?
Yes. Supermicro H14 servers support AMD EPYC 9005 Turin with up to 192 cores per socket and 128 PCIe 5.0 lanes. VRLA Tech configures both Intel X14 and AMD H14 platforms. Contact our engineers to discuss which platform is right for your workload.
Which Supermicro server is best for AI?
The SYS-522GA-NRT with up to 10 NVIDIA GPUs for large-scale AI training and inference. For smaller deployments, the SYS-222HA-TN supports 4 DW GPUs in 2U. VRLA Tech configures both for vLLM, TGI, TensorRT-LLM, and Triton. Use our AI ROI calculator.
How does Supermicro compare to Dell and HPE?
Supermicro offers more configuration flexibility and typically lower acquisition costs than Dell or HPE fixed SKUs. Supermicro supports open standards (OCP 3.0, EDSFF, DC-MHS). Dell and HPE offer proprietary management ecosystems. VRLA Tech configures all three — Dell · HPE · Contact us to discuss.
Can VRLA Tech pre-install an OS?
