When it comes to price to performance, VRLA Tech’s mid-range gaming PCs can’t be beat. The two mid-range options, our Apollo and Titan, are the best options for people who need serious gaming performance, without breaking the bank. In this article, we breakdown the components of each pre-built PC, and explain how those parts work together to give you an amazing gaming PC.
Our mid-range PCs have some similarities. Both PCs feature Ryzen 5000 series CPUs as their basis, and both slot into B450 motherboards. However, there’s a significant difference between them, which we’ll cover below.

VRLA Tech Apollo Gaming PC
Apollo
The Apollo is one of our most popular pre-built PCs, and for good reason. Featuring an AMD Ryzen 5 5600X and a GeForce RTX 3060, this PC is the perfect option for anyone who wants to take gaming and content creation to the next level.
The Ryzen 5 5600X is a 6 core 12 thread CPU, which offers a ton of flexibility on the types of tasks you can easily complete. More cores and threads means complex tasks like streaming or video rendering are made much easier. The Ryzen Zen 3 architecture features Ryzen’s strongest single core performance yet, which means that no matter the types of games you like to play, this CPU is an excellent choice.
The other main component of this pre-built PC is the GPU. The Apollo features a GeForce RTX 3060, one of the best mid-range GPUs on the market. This graphics card gives you the ability to play any game in 1440p competitively, with over 100 FPS on many titles. It’s also an excellent choice for 1080p gaming, with frame rates of over 300 on many popular titles.
These components are supported by a B450 motherboard. We chose to utilize the B450 platform over similar AM4 socket motherboards because of the price to performance they offer. They don’t add any unnecessary features that would have made this PC more expensive. Into this motherboard, we slot 16GBs of DDR4 RAM. 16GBs of RAM is the ideal baseline for gaming PCs at this time. It gives you more than enough memory for basic PC tasks, like web browsing or productivity, and also gives you the flexibility to game, stream, and create content.
This PC is powered by a 500W power supply, which gets upgraded to a 650W if you select the GeForce RTX 3060Ti upgrade.
With that understanding, it’s easy to understand why the Apollo is an excellent mid-range gaming system. The Apollo can push 300+ frames in 1080p, making it incredible for competitive gaming and e-sports on a budget. It can also easily handle 1440p gaming, putting you ahead of the curve when it comes to monitor resolutions. The RTX 3060 also features NVIDIA’s second generation ray tracing, giving you access to one of the most coveted features in PC gaming. Hundreds of games now support RTX On, meaning you get the highest quality visuals in many of the latest games.
If you’re looking to game and stream, the Apollo is our recommended starting point. You can stream with some of our entry level PCs, but the specs of the Apollo make for a better streaming experience, with less performance impact to both your stream and game.

VRLA Tech Titan Gaming PC
Titan
The Titan features a Ryzen 7 5700X, which is an 8 core 16 thread CPU. It has a base clock speed of 3.4GHz, and a Max boost of 4.6 Ghz. More cores and threads means even better multitasking, and better experience in programs and tasks that utilize multiple cores. This makes the Titan an incredible PC for streaming and content creation. Streaming massively benefits from strong multi-threaded processors, making the Titan the perfect choice for serious streamers and content creators.
The Titan features an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 graphics card. This graphics card is the next tier above the RTX 3060 featured in the Apollo. This card shines in 1440p. Instead of being a 1080p graphics card that can game in 1440, the RTX 3070 is a 1440p card that can game in 4k. In 1440p, the Titan gets incredible performance, with over 150 FPS in many titles, and in 4k, you can average over 60 FPS in most triple A titles. This PC is the ultimate next-gen system, giving you the option to game in 4k, the highest resolution widely available. We also offer the option to upgrade to an RTX 3070 Ti, which puts the performance of this PC much closer to an RTX 3080 system.
These components get slotted into a B450 motherboard, which, like the Apollo, we chose for it’s price to performance. Also like the Apollo, it features 16GB of DDR4 RAM, which is the sweet spot for most PC tasks. Like most of the components on our systems, the RAM is also upgradeable up to 64GB. If you’re planning on using your PC largely for video editing and rendering, we recommend upgrading to at least 32GB of RAM, which will greatly reduce any rendering hangups.
The Titan is perfect for serious gamers and content creators looking to maximize their computing power, without maxing out their budget.

Conclusion
Both of these computers are excellent options, and which is right for you will depend largely on your needs and budget. The Apollo is perfect for anyone looking to elevate their gaming experience. Using current parts, it offers a well rounded experience for both gameplay, content creation, and
